This special 5 day tour includes 2 nights in Banff with Christmas Dinner, a sleigh ride through a winter wonderland, and the Banff Gondola. On this tour you'll travel over 2,000 kilometers, from BC to Alberta and back. You will spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Banff, the most famous town in the Canadian Rockies, and will have a free day to try an exciting winter activity like skiing/boarding at Lake Louise, ice walking, or you can sleep in after a big night out on the town and enjoy the shops and sights of Banff.

Day One - Vancouver to Chase: Depart Vancouver from Canada Place at 7:15am SHARP (arrive by 7am), and the fun begins with your friendly Tour Guide who will start off the tour with introductions and games so you can meet the other passengers. Hear interesting facts about Vancouver as you make your way out of the city and into the mountains! Enjoy a number of sights along the way including the scenic Coquihalla Highway, Bridal Falls, and Canada’s desert! Stop in Kamloops for lunch. Enjoy wine tasting at a local winery. Arrive in Chase and check-in at the beautiful Quaaout Lodge & Spa. Enjoy entertaining storytelling around the campfire from the resort’s First Nations Cultural Host
Day Two - Banff: Start the day with included breakfast at your hotel. Depart the hotel in the morning and drive through the beautiful snow-capped peaks of Mount Revelstoke National Park & Glacier National Park with stops to visit Roger’s Pass National Historic Site, Emerald Lake and Lake Louise (with optional ice skating/weather dependent). Continue your drive to Banff, and once in Banff, enjoy a driving tour of the world famous town before checking into the Mount Royal Hotel, where you will stay for the next two nights, and then enjoying free time to go shopping or try one of the many restaurants including my favorite, The Grizzly House, located right in downtown Banff.
Day Three - Banff: Enjoy Christmas day in Banff with your included breakfast at the hotel, followed by your included scenic sleigh ride through a winter wonderland and your included ride on the Sulphur Mountain Gondola. Today includes (not included) options to soak in the Banff Hot Springs, or to participate in an exciting winter activity like snowshoeing, ice walking or skiing/snowboarding at Lake Louise Ski Resort. If you are not participating in an activity, sleep in and enjoy a free day in Banff and then meet your group for the included Christmas Dinner.
Day Four - Banff to Golden: Enjoy your included breakfast in the hotel, and then choose to enjoy your day at leisure, or try skiing, snowboarding or another exciting winter activity (not included). Depart Banff in the afternoon for Golden, BC where you will check into the Prestige Inn with free time for dinner and to enjoy the hotel’s pool & hot tub.
Day Five - Golden to Vancouver: Your last day starts with your included breakfast at your hotel before departing Golden to head back to Vancouver. Along the way, enjoy entertainment, movies and games, plus the stops at Craigellachie (the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway) and Aberdeen Shopping Centre for lunch and some quick purchases. Arrive back in Vancouver at approximately 7:30PM.
